FLAMABILITY - Polytuf tarps are not sold or intended for use as a flame retardant material or as camping tentage. Meets the flammability requirements of Commercial Standard CS-192-53 (Paragraph 4.10) for general purpose vinyl plastic film, to which the Flammable Fabrics Act, Public Law 88 refer. However, NOT SOLD OR INTENDED FOR USE AS A FLAME RETARDANT ARTICLE.
FINISHSED SIZE - Your polytuf tarps are manufactured utilizing a manual process where for example in the case of 10'x18' cut size tarpaulin, two 5' by 18' panels are welded or sewn together(producing a center seam of approximately 1.5"), hemmed(typically 1-1.25"), and grommeted to produce the finished tarp. This industry standard process utilizes a full 10'x18' worth of plastic, but yields a slightly smaller finsihed size. Accordingly, if finished size is critical to your application, or your customers' application, please contact us for specific finished sizes, and our recommendations for the best product for your needs.
WATER RESISTANCE - Polytuf Tarps and related products are resistant to the elements, but certainly should not be used in situations where exposure to the elements could be of significant financial impact.
